Charity News - József Farkas P. spoke about the upcoming events of the Wojtyla House on Radio Gong
The founder-director said in front of the microphone:
The opening event is the Charity concert that is held for the poor of the Wojtyla House in the St. Nicholas church at 6pm on Friday, 29th September. The Kecskemét City Brass and Reed Band will play under the direction of Lajos Kuna conductor. The Gregus Tarogato Band will also give a performance under the direction of Sándor Szabó.
Tickets are available for 1000HUF, and supporter tickets for 5000HUF or 10000HUF in the Wojtyla House at 5 Egressy utca or at the venue of the event before the concert. The organizers thank the supporting coming and the money that the supporters send them on their bank account to help the carrying on with the mission of the soupkitchen, said József Farkas P.
On Sunday, 1st October the believers are awaited at a holy mass at the Francis of Assisi at 4pm.
On Monday, 2nd October at 10.30am the nursery school children can see a slide show on the life of Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the chapel. After the performance there will be an agapé thank to the believers.
On Tuesday, 3rd October elementary school pupils are expected in the same way at the venue of the performance. They will see the performance and also get an agapé.
On Wednesday, 4th October at 3.30pm dr. Balázs Bábel, archbishop of Kalocsa-Kecskemét, will consecrate the cross of Christ that was freshly renovated by the Porta Egyesület beside the Maria road leading past the Sasfészek Restaurant, on the territory of the KEFAG Zrt. Everybody who is interested is expected by the organizers.
After this, at 5pm the kirmess of the Francis of Assisi will begin honouring the chapels denominater and patron saint in the chapel. During the kirmess’s holy mass the harvest will be blessed. Dr. Balázs bábel will bless the fruits and vegetables that will have been exhibited by the BÁCS-ZÖLDÉRT Zrt.
During the holy mass the names of the supporters will be read aloud who helped with building the chapel in any form, but cannot be with us anymore.
The builders will give a presentation of the wonder of the building of the chapel. It will be explained how the chapel was built in spite of lots of obstacles with the hope and endurance of the founding community from a dream that seemed to be impossible to implicate, but still came alive, said the guest of Radio Gong.
The programme of the kirmess will be completed with an agapé that will be given by the believers, stated József Farkas P..
